Brass Band Revelry is the heart & soul of New Orleans' Mardi Gras celebrations. It is the Brass Band that bears the duty of providing the spark needed to ignite marchers into feverish frenzies and the sparks needed to keep those frenzies red hot. With such a great responsibility on their shoulders, Brass Bands have, over the years, studied the power of rhythmic beats inside & out. Thus, it is no wonder that when it comes to filling crowds with Energy, Brass Bands are untouchable. And Big Time Boogie-ing is exactly what's gonna take place on Halloween night, Friday - October 31st at Studio 1. For in New Orleans, the mecca of Brass Bands, Rebirth has garnered the reputation as King of the Hill. Rebirth's dance frenzies are repeatedly the hottest in New Orleans, and time & time again, their audiences walk away with smiles from ear to ear, amazed at how music could create so much Energy & Elation. Undoubtedly, when Honolulu comes face to face with Rebirth's funkalicious high-steppin rhythm, Studio 1 will become a smokin' & swirlin', multi-colored jam-filled blaze. Can you take the Heat ????

Cajun Fuel: If you're worried about burnin' through all your energy before the end of the night, don't fret. You'll be able to recharge with ono Seafood Gumbo and Bread Pudding in Bourbon Sauce, prepared by New Orleans native Ja-ne Abreu. Ja-ne is flying some fresh spices & ZAP cajun potato chips in from da' Bayou to ensure that the grinds are as tasty as Rebirth's rhythms :0).
